Alt Bitter

Time has flown by lately. Lately things have been pretty hectic especially with Easter and all thats associated with it. So I've been trying to keep things simple and the important things at the top of the list and everything else...who cares. Gotta keep what matters most at the top and what doesn't just gets dropped.
Finally got a second batch up and going. However during scale up we miscalculated our malt and grain requirements forcing some last minute scrambling for change to pick up a can of:


However it was smooth sailing ever since. The green beer was bottled the day before easter and it looked, smelled and even tasted very nice. I think this batch is gonna be pretty good. It might take about 40-60 days in the bottle to come around but it will be tastey.

On second note, sometimes when you are in the middle of a sugar crash, the heavans open up and turn the lights on...and this is what I found.

I must say, the donuts are good but Ohlins bakery take the edge in the donut battle. However if you find yourself at Kanes, then I would definately get a single coffee roll. Why a single Coffee Roll? Simply becuase it is the size of a cake, its huge, coated with thick frosting and great cinamon filling. Definately a ten thousand calorie breakfast.

If you are looking for a bikeing update...managed a 28km ride on monday but thats about it. Missed the HopBrook Damn MTB race by Root66 and looks like i'm gonna miss the Fat Tire too so i'm gonna have to make up some time at Wells Ave if I can ever find a sunday free or get my ass out of bed becuase this joe racer is slackin'.
