This should become my weekly flem update. Yes, i'm still sick. However I have decided that this will not keep me away from my duties to watch football and consume large quantities of wings, beers and other fine foods. On Sunday, the football gods smiled and presented a perfect day for spending time with friends. First order of business was the get the holiday cards done. Luckily the little man is quite savy in front of the camera and Vuth had no trouble snapping off quality pict after quality pict. He did an amazing job and I must admit as an assistant, along with michelle, we got it done. The little man was nothing but smiles and laughs. Second order of business...football. Patriots looked a little shaky against the Detroit Lion juggernaut and super QB Jon Kitna. hahaha. Luckily beers kept me calm and the Gus provided color commentary and in general kept it tight. Foods were prepared with rapid haste and consumed twice as fast. Luckily ESC was there to help control the little man and also help consume all that was prepared (knowing that the Giants were about to loose-Those aren't interceptions Eli is throwing, those are cries for help). Third order of business on the day was to get the compound decorated and full of holiday cheer. It was pointed out to me that if the season ended today, the Patriots would have to take on the Mighty Bengals, it would be a tough game to watch, where do my allegiances lie......damn. I would discuss cross and my lack of form or season for that matter but since i'm still coughing, wheezing and considered by many of cambridges doctors one day away from a lung transplant it is too depressing. My next cross appearance will be as a spectator at the Nats. To all actually racing, good luck, kick some ass, leave nothing behind and you'll hear me cheering from the beer tent as I and the rest of the gang self-medicate and ring the cow bell.
